Nice to meet you.
About me
I am passionate about blending my interests in teaching, consulting and presenting. With a significant quantitative background as a CFO, my focus is on creating value in monetary, philanthropic and customer experience terms by finding the intersection of Business, User Experience and Technology through:
1. PRESENTING AND LECTURING for innovative firms, community organizations and Universities
2. CREATING BUSINESS AND LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES in high growth and/or changing environments
3. ADVISING AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL SERVICES to individually-held private companies.
I have created a balanced portfolio of activities that is an incredibly rich and rewarding career experience.
As a faculty member of the cutting edge MBA program at CCA and as a guest lecturer and facilitator at other major Universities, I focus on integrating innovation and creativity into quantitative business models creating a more complete value narrative found in today's companies.
As a strategist and consultant primarily in the nonprofit and privately held company sector, I currently focus on organizations who have participated in tremendous growth (10X) and who now must navigate their way to new operating, financial and leadership models.
As a tribute to my roots as an accountant, I own and operate a small financial and accounting services firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work primarily with civic groups and family-run companies whom I find have incredibly strong business ethics and decision making without the layer of corporate complexity. I very much enjoy this work and it informs my teaching and strategy work in very real ways.
