Arts & Culture

My office is filled with things that inspire me to do my best work.

Home to both art that I love and art I have not yet developed a relationship with, my office is a gallery. Music always plays in the background, a mix of playlists curated by friends and old favorites.

This page is a place where I can share some of this with you. I welcome your engagement, whether it is a recommendation or something here that sparks a cord with you.

Photography

Featuring San Francisco in motion, by Emil J. Alex.

Untitled 1: Pedestrians crossing an intersection in downtown San Francisco

This is a selection from the San Francisco in motion series that caught my attention at CCA. Whether taken amidst a sea of pedestrians or perched 20 stories above the crowds, the artist captures intriguing compositions of movement in the urban environment.

All the visuals were created by overlaying multiple photographs taken in rapid succession. This enabled the artist to showcase movement ‘trails’ as people and objects transitioned from one spot to another.
